Decided to draw this magnificent beast. I made a few alterations to make him look more badass uvu

Females have the same amount of stripes, but they are thinner than males. Females also have lighter red claws than males.

Well it is canon that the Redman tribes use terror birds as mounts, so perhaps they might be your next prehistoric subject to be drawn?

If you want a more detailed answer than Jag's Megalania is a giant relative of monitor lizards like komodo dragons that lived in Australia up till between 30 and 40 thousand years ago during the last ice age. No complete fossil specimens have been found but some estimates suggest it could grow to over 20 feet long, and supposedly some people occasionally report seeing them in remote corners of the outback.
